Au apărut în miezul nopţii, fără să dea nici un semn. Am intrat în bucătărie şi le-am văzut acolo, ghemuite, aşteptând să vină pe lume. Am stins lumina şi le-am lăsat să se descurce singure, pe întuneric. Oricum nu aveau nevoie de moaşe…
Până dimineaţă, primul se născuse deja. Frumos, sănătos şi foarte colorat.
Evident, l-am mâncat.
